Non-goals

The core research preview does not standardize:

• factual truth or source reputation;
• organizational approval, access control, or legal authorization;
• prompts, hidden reasoning, model configuration, or model providers;
• document retrieval, ranking, embeddings, indexes, or caches;
• runtime orchestration, agent loops, workflows, or user interfaces;
• learning, calibration, optimization, or outcome analytics;
• marketplace ranking, billing, or hosted-registry operation;
• a general-purpose programming, policy, query, or rules language;
• domain-specific ontologies, units, or regulatory vocabularies;
• a universal audit or event format.

Some may become separate profiles after demonstrated interoperability. Others should remain product concerns permanently.

The absence of a feature from JPS does not imply it is unimportant. It means independent exchange does not yet justify standardizing it.
